Petra Inez Combarro

Petra Inez Combarro (1993, Budapest) graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2019 as a sculptor, and has been a member of BAGUDA Association since 2023. Her art is based on the reworking of found objects: she creates new, fairy tale-like creatures from damaged porcelain figurines, both perpetuating and recoloring the knick-knacks of our grandmothers. The resulting situations are surprising and humorous, relieving the rigidity and pathetic nature of the material. In 2018, she was awarded the Fundamenta-Amadeus Creative Scholarship.
