Veronika Csonka
Csonka Veronika 1992-ben született Siófokon, jelenleg Budapesten él és alkot. 2019-ben végzett a Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem festő szakán, 2021-ben képzőművész tanár képesítést is szerzett.
Her work explores the points of intersection between natural systems and those created by humans. Rooted in a research based artistic practice, she draws on scientific observations, ecological processes and biomorphic structures, translating them into reinterpreted, hand built forms. For her, the use of a 3D pen, recycled plastics and industrial materials is not merely a technical tool, but a metaphor for the interweaving of the organic and the artificial worlds. Her works examine questions of transformation, adaptation and the impact of human activity on the environment, while positioning art as a means of dialogue between science and environmental awareness.
